Presentation of Research Results at RSC Poster 2026!

On 3–4 March 2026, the international RSC Poster 2026 conference, organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry and held online, took place. Weronika Zuba, MSc Eng., participated in the event, presenting research results obtained as part of the LIDER XIV project.

The poster focused on the design of nanoparticles composed of branched anionic polymers with a sucrose core, prepared using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The developed materials exhibit the ability to change their conformation in response to small changes in environmental pH. This property makes them promising candidates for use as polymeric excipients in oral dosage forms designed for modified, particularly delayed, drug release.

Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to present the research findings to the international scientific community, exchange experiences, and discuss the potential applications of the developed materials in modern drug delivery systems.

The research presented on the poster was funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) under the LIDER XIV project (grant agreement no. 0058/L-14/2023).
